The Archaeological Research Delivery Group of the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site will:
Seek to promote high-quality research into the archaeology of the Hadrian’s Wall frontier and its cultural history.
Provide coordination for this through the promotion, support, and periodic review of the Hadrian’s Wall Research Framework.
Provide research input into wider World Heritage Site management on the Wall, aiming to provide a forum and voice for researchers to become involved with and impact upon wider WHS management.
Seek to disseminate this research both within the archaeological community and to involve the wider public (in cooperation with the Learning and Interpretation Delivery).
The Delivery Group is chaired by Richard Hingley (Durham University) with Rob Collins (Newcastle University) as Vice Chair.
