Hadrian’s Wall is one of over 1000 sites in the world to be designated a World Heritage Site. A site not just important to the UK but part of a global collection of places that mean something to the world. UNESCO the governing body of World Heritage have lots of education materials exploring what it means to be World Heritage and how we can all have a positive impact on the world. As part of the World Heritage Site, Frontiers of the Roman Empire; Hadrian’s Wall is linked closely with other Roman frontiers across Europe and beyond.
