Travelling on Hadrian’s Wall: Coronavirus/COVID-19 Statement

Public transport services to access the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site are continuing to run to provide transport to residents and key-workers. Announcement from Go North East - AD 122 Bus Service

“Following the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Covid – 19, unfortunately the introduction of the AD 122 service scheduled to commence on Saturday 4th April 2020 has now been suspended for an indefinite period. We at Go North East are very disappointed to have to deliver this news to you, but you will appreciate the situation that we collectively find ourselves in. We will be continuing to run the 185 service as normal - so, those wanting to visit Walltown, Gilsland or Birdoswald will be able to. We will continue to update this information as soon as the situation changes.”
