Hadrian's Wall has excellent public transport services to provide access to the towns and cities within the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site. Hadrian's Wall has a dedicated buse service, the AD122. From two cities (both of Roman foundation), Carlisle in the West and Newcastle in the East, East/West and North/South links can be found as well as the airports which service the World Heritage SIte.
There is a regular service along the Tyne Valley Railway, with connections at Carlisle and Newcastle to trains running throughout the country. You can find the current timetable on our partner web
